Unless otherwise stated, donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error — for example, a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount — please contact us within 30 days of the transaction and we will review the request in good faith. Events, Registrations, and Fundraisers

Northland Newborn Foundation may host or promote events, fundraisers, raffles, auctions, or other community activities. Participation may be subject to additional terms, eligibility requirements, rules, or restrictions.
Event registrations, purchases, bids, sponsorships, or donations may be processed through third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the terms, privacy practices, or technical operations of third-party platforms.
Assumption of risk and separate waivers. Certain events involve physical activity and inherent risks, including risk of property damage, serious injury, or death. This includes, without limitation, snowmobiling and other outdoor or recreational activities. Participation in these events requires you to read and sign a separate waiver, release, and assumption-of-risk agreement, and to comply with all posted event rules, applicable laws, and the instructions of event staff. That separate agreement governs your participation, and nothing in these Terms of Use replaces, limits, or satisfies that requirement. Participants are responsible for their own equipment, licensing, insurance, and fitness to participate.
Photography and media. By attending or participating in a Northland Newborn Foundation event, you acknowledge that you and members of your party may be photographed, filmed, or recorded, and you grant Northland Newborn Foundation permission to use those images and recordings in its promotional, educational, fundraising, and reporting materials, including on our website and social media, without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify event staff at check-in or contact us at the email address below.
Raffles, drawings, and auctions. Raffles, drawings, and auctions are governed by their own official rules, which will be made available in connection with the applicable event, and are conducted in accordance with Minnesota law. Where required, these activities are conducted under applicable licensure or exemption. Void where prohibited.

When you donate, register for an event, apply for assistance, or subscribe to our updates, you agree that we may contact you by email regarding your transaction and, where you have opted in, regarding our programs, events, and fundraising activities. You may unsubscribe from promotional email at any time using the link in our messages or by contacting us. If you provide a mobile number and opt in to receive text messages, message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
